“Before being engaged, when I thought about my wedding day I thought about the reception, the dress and the decor. When James proposed however, I found myself thinking about the ceremony. I knew I wanted it to be really special and I knew I wanted it to really showcase how we feel about each other. I had never heard of a celebrant before and when I started looking into things my friend suggested a celebrant and told me a little about the difference. This is what led us to Jane, and we are so thankful. Jane was with us every step of the way. She met with us on Skype, phone, and several times in person in order to make our ceremony exactly what we wanted. Our ceremony was so special. “Jane was amazing. She was super helpful with every step of the process from running through ideas with us to formulating plans, to catching the details we missed down to the rehearsal. Jane was with us every step of the way. She was always open to meeting with us and answering question after question about ceremony details. We felt super overwhelmed with planning a ceremony as we had only been to a few weddings before but she gave us a ton of advice and walked us through the whole process. We added in a handfasting ceremony and Jane wrote an amazing piece for that and helped us work out some kinks in our vows so that they flowed nicely and stayed meaningful. The rehearsal was super low key and low stress with Jane in charge. Most of us had no idea what we were doing, but she managed to get people to do what they needed to do, which I’m sure was like trying to herd cats. Her calm presence and detailed walk-through showed the day of, when everything went beautifully. Many of our family and friends commented to us afterwards about how perfect the ceremony was and how personalized and sweet it was. Our ceremony was the most important part of the wedding for us and because Jane was involved it went perfectly. I would definitely recommend!”

“I didn't do much shopping around for a wedding officiant because when we met with Jane, I knew that we'd had hit the jackpot! Originally, we wanted a quick "yep" ceremony and then onto the reception, but Jane helped us realise the importance of the ceremony. After all, a wedding is just a party without the ceremony!
She helped us knit together an amazing series of traditional and nontraditional pieces that made our day. She even helped me add in a little secret part to make my husband laugh! She stuck with us even as we changed and tweaked things days before the ceremony. Without Jane, it wouldn't have been nearly what it was. Without Jane, my husband and I wouldn't have such an amazing day to look back on and cherish.”
